CHOTA KAILASH
Chota Kailash is about 35 km from Haldwani city of Uttarakhand and 42 km from Nainital district and Lord Shiva is worshipped here. Chota Kailash is in Bhimtal block of Nainital district. This huge temple is situated between the high peaks of dense forests on the top of huge mountains, which is known as Chota Kailash. It is believed that Lord Shiva Bholenath himself had seen the war between Lord
Rama and Ravana. Every year 3 to 4 lakh devotees come here, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, which is to be held on 26 February in 2025, about 4 lakh people are expected to come here. There is a grand temple of Lord Shankar, which is called Chota Kailash and it is also said that after the marriage of Shiva Parvati, Mahadev had rested at this place for a day and in the month of Sawan, a large number of
devotees of Bholenath come here to worship and come here every year to have his darshan. The wishes of all the devotees who come here with a true mind or true heart are fulfilled. Apart from Mahashivratri, a huge crowd is seen here on other occasions as well, such as during the Navratris and the month of Sawan, devotees from far-off places from every corner of the country and even from abroad come here to have darshan of Lord Shiva.
KASHI VISHWANATH
Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a wonderful grand temple of Shiva Shankar Bholenath. It is located in Vishwanath of Banaras which is known as Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh in India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. People come here from every corner of the country and abroad. This temple is a pilgrimage site and is considered one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples. The temple of Lord Shiva is on the western side near the river Ganges. The special and main deities of this temple are Vishwanath and Visheshwar, which clearly means the ruler of the universe and it is also believed that one also attains salvation by visiting this temple. Nowadays it is one of the most visited Hindu temples in India, with 50,000 pilgrims visiting daily in 2024,2025 and a lot of devotees are seen here during Mahashivratri and Navratri or the month of Sawan.
SHRI MAHAKALESHWAR
Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Jyotirlinga Temple Mahakaleshwar Temple of Ujjain It is the main temple of Lord Mahakaleshwar located in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh state. Shri Maha Kaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is considered to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. From the Puranas to the scriptures like Mahabharata, the opposite has been written about this temple. One can attain salvation just by visiting Mahakaleshwar temple, it is believed that whoever comes here and has darshan, all his wishes are fulfilled. In the month of Sawan, a lot of crowd is seen on Mondays and this year on Mahashivratri of 2025 also there are chances of a lot of devotees. Especially on the day of Mahashivratri, the temple of Mahakaleshwar remains open 24 hours.
SHRI TUGNATH
Shri Tugnath Temple The mysterious temple of Shiv Shankar Bholenath is located in Druraprayag district of Uttarakhand in India. This temple is very famous since ancient times Tugnat Temple The difference from Rudraprayag to Kedarnath falls on about 30
km.Tungnath Temple is one of the largest temples of Lord Shiva. This temple is also considered a part of Panch Kedar It is also said that to escape from Pandavas, he had taken the form of a bull.
SHRI NEELKANTH MAHADEV
Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is the temple of Shiv Shankar Bholenath Mahadev. This Parsidh temple is located in Podi district of Uttarakhand state which is about 30 km from Rishikesh city. If you come to Neelkanth Mahadev temple, you can see a huge crowd of devotees here in
the month of Sawan. Mahadev’s devotees have reached 365 Stairs. Those who have come on Mahashivratri in 2025 are able to see a large number of devotees here.
SHIVOHAM SHIVA TEMPLE
Shivoham Shiva Temple is a grand temple of Lord Shiva which is available in the state Karnataka Bangalore City, of India. Here the idol of Shiva is approximately 65 feet tall. 1 lakh to 2 lakh devotees come here every year. This grand temple was inaugurated on 26 February 1995.
SHRI BALESHWAR
Shri Baleshwar Temple is an amazingly grand temple of Lord Bholenath which is situated in Lohaghat town of Champawat district of Uttarakhand. It is believed that this temple was inaugurated in the 13th century. In the present times, lakhs of devotees have come here
every year to have darshan of Bholenath. There are two other temples here which are known as a Ratneshwar or Mata Durga.
MOTESHWAR MAHADEV TEMPLE
Moteshwar Mahadev Temple is a symbol of Lord Shiva. This temple is located in Kashipur city in Udhamsingh Nagar district of Uttarakhand state of India. This temple is believed to be from Mahabharata period or it is believed to be Baarwaa Ujyotiling which means that the thickness of Shivling has become bigger in size, hence its name is Moteshwar. According to the Puranas, Lord Bholenath had said that any devotee who brings water from Ganga after traveling to Kavad and brings water from Ganga to this temple will attain salvation. In the month of Sawan or on occasions like Shivrati, a lot of crowd is seen here.
DHOPESHWAR NATH
Dhapeshwar Nath Temple is a very famous temple located at Uttar Pradesh, Bareilly City at Chavani Place.
Thousand years ago the temple was inaugurated by the Guru Rishi of Dropadi in Dwapar Yuga where he performed penance and from that time he got the name Dhopeshwarnath. After a few years of his death or leaving the old man, there is a beautiful lake in the temple
which has become much more famous by the name of Dhopeshwar. Whoever worships God with true heart in this temple, all his wishes are fulfilled.
SHRI MURUDESHWARA
Shri Murudeshwara temple located in karnataka state Main Mangalore city Murudeshwar temple is very famous for its huge or big size idol which is the largest idol in the world or this idol is on the top of the hill. Apart from India, many people from other countries come to have darshan of Lord Shiv shankar Bholenath every year lakhs of devotees come here to have darshan of Lord Shiva The height of the idol is approximately 37 meters tall.
